Nadia is the current Head of Markets for RMB Nigeria. She is an accomplished professional and has experience spanning over 18 years in the banking industry with a background in FX trading, Fixed income & Money Markets and Balance Sheet Management. As the Head of Markets, Nadia plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the bank’s Markets activities across various asset classes including Trading & Execution, Sales & Structuring and Custody.

Nadia joined RMB Nigeria in 2013 as a pioneer staff member, entrusted with the responsibility of setting up the FX Trading and Customer Dealing desk for Nigeria. Her exceptional skills, dedication, and strategic insights in identifying market opportunities and handling the execution of client transactions across market products quickly made her an invaluable member of the team. In recognizing Nadia’s exceptional capabilities, she was promoted to the position of Head of Markets in 2016. Prior to joining RMB Nigeria, Nadia worked at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria as a Foreign Exchange Dealer having begun her banking career on the Asset and Liability Management desk.

She holds a master’s degree in Finance, Economics and Econometrics from Bayes Business School, London (formerly Cass Business School, London) and a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Computing from the University of Kent, UK.

Nadia is a member of the RMB Nigeria Executive Committee and sits on the Board of RMBN Nominees and RMBN Asset Management.

Ada O. Nnaemeka is an accomplished and visionary financial executive with over two decades of experience in the banking and financial services industries. With a robust educational background that includes leadership for senior executives programme from Harvard Business School, Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America; a senior management programme at Lagos Business School; an MBA and BSc degree in Economics from Enugu State University of Science and Technology; and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria, she brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to her roles.

As the Chief Treasurer at Keystone Bank Limited, Ada showcased her exceptional skill in reengineering operations to boost efficiency and profitability. With her at the helm, the Treasury Division consistently surpassed its income targets by an impressive 20% over three years. Her strategic vision has driven the bank’s growth and enhanced its market standing.

During her tenure as Chief Dealer in the Treasury Division, Ada introduced pioneering initiatives in foreign exchange derivatives trading and forward discounting, demonstrating her innovative approach to addressing liquidity challenges and enhancing the bank’s income. Establishing a research desk within the division highlights her dedication to utilising data and analytics for informed decision-making and developing trading strategies. Before her significant achievements at Keystone Bank, Ada was instrumental in developing the fixed-income market in 2007, when she initiated bond trading on two-way quotes at the bank, establishing it as a market maker. This innovation led to later successes in Treasury Bills Trading at Bank PHB Plc, where her strategies significantly increased income levels by 100% in the first year. Her earlier role in treasury marketing and financial institutions at Platinum Bank Ltd further cements her expertise in relationship management, deposit mobilisation, and structured finance.

Ada is a respected member of several professional bodies, such as the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), the Financial Market Dealers Association (FMDA), and the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), as a Fellow, evidencing her standing and contribution to the financial sector, and the ACI Dealing Certificate.

Beyond her professional achievements, she actively engages in community service as an EVS Champion for Keystone Bank’s volunteer programme. Her interests span travel, culinary arts, and mentoring, reflecting a well-rounded personality dedicated to professional excellence and personal growth.

Ada O. Nnaemeka’s career is a testament to her leadership, innovative thinking, and profound impact on the financial industry. Her strategic insight, combined with a deep understanding of market dynamics, positions her as a leading figure in shaping the future of Treasury management and financial services, as evidenced by her appointment to the Governing Council of the Financial Market Dealers Association (FMDA) as vice president and Chairperson of the Derivatives Workgroup of the FMDA.

Ramat served in United Bank for Africa and FBNQuest Merchant Bank Ltd respectively as Dealer, Chief Dealer and Treasurer. She recently joined the Treasury team of IHS Towers.

Adetokunbo Uko has 25 years of banking experience covering Treasury and Financial institutions Marketing, Retail Banking, Public Sector, Credit & Marketing and Branch Operations. She began her banking career with Gulf Bank in 1994 working in Branch Operations, Sales/Marketing roles, and Treasury. She also worked at Oceanic Bank (now Ecobank) as Head, Treasury & Financial Institutions and Treasurer. Adetokunbo is a Governing Council member of the Financial Markets Dealers Association (FMDA) and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). She holds an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University and a B.A. in English from Ogun State University.

Stephen is the Head, FICC Proprietary Business / Group manager Trading Ecobank, he has been in the forefront in Ecobank trading and business optimization processes, he is an Honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIBN)

He has led various growth process while he serves with the Ecobank in the following capacity “Regional Treasurer, Group manager trading, Head trading, Head / Chief Dealer Currency Trading. He has facilitated various business planning strategy, group restructuring and business combination processes both within and outside the banking industry which earned him special recognitions (Financial Market Dealers Association: Service Award 2008-2009, Won the best department award for Ecobank Kenya Treasury department for 2015 & 2016, Receive appreciation letter from Central Bank of Kenya as contribution to the development of the fixed income market, Bond workgroup : FMDA ).

Emmanuel had his Higher National Diploma in Accountancy obtained from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo-State, in 2000, B. SC in Business Administration at Ambrose Alli University in 2010 and an MBA in Business Administration at OAU Ife on 27th May 2015.  He is currently the head, Treasury Operations, Fidelity Bank Plc and has served in several committees with CBN/FMDA/FMDQ in driving the financial industry to the current heights today. He has over 20 years banking experience which cut across Continental trust bank, United bank for Africa Plc and Fidelity Bank. He has worked at different capacities in Operations ranging from branch Operations, Branch Co-ordination, Cash Management operations and Treasury Operations.

He has gathered an in-depth wealth of experience especially in areas of Treasury Products, settlement, accounting and bookkeeping.

He is the current Chairman, Treasury Support workgroup and Member, Governing Council FMDA (Financial Markets Dealers Association). He was also a member of various committees like Finacle core version 10 implementation team Fidelity Bank, RTGS/S4 rules/regulations committee with CBN and Finacle Treasury version 10 implementation team Fidelity Bank.

Ini Ebong is the Group Executive, Treasury and Financial Institutions, First Bank of Nigeria Limited. Prior to this appointment in January 2016, he was the Bank’s Treasurer, a position he occupied since 2011. Before joining FirstBank he was the Head of African Fixed Income and Local Markets Trading, Renaissance Securities Nigeria Limited, the Nigerian registered subsidiary of Renaissance Capital.

Ini worked in Citigroup for 14 years, having joined the Treasury Group – Sales and Trading and rotated through a wide variety of trading roles across most Treasury products, Asset and Liability management, Treasury sales and marketing, Treasury risk management, until he became Country Treasurer and Sales and Trading Business Head, in June 2003. In his career in financial services, Ini specialized in the Sales and Trading function and has extensive work experience that covers not just trading, but also Treasury and Balance Sheet Management. He has a passion for market development and has worked actively to drive change and internationalization of the Nigerian financial markets: foreign exchange, fixed income and securities.

Ini has worked closely with regulatory bodies such as the CBN and DMO in assisting with the development of fresh monetary and foreign exchange policies, to broaden and deepen markets and open them up to international practices. At various times he has facilitated and delivered courses and seminars on a wide variety of subjects covering Money Markets, Securities and Foreign exchange trading and market risk management subjects to regulators, corporate customers, banks and market participants. Ini holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Architecture from University of Ife.

At various times, he served as a resource person for the Money Market Association of Nigeria (MMAN) now Financial Markets Dealers Association and also on the Market Development, Process, Documentation and Foreign Exchange Committees. He was the Vice President of the Association from 2006 to 2008 and currently serves as a member of the Governing Council of the Association.

Mr. Ebong has a passion for market development and has worked actively to drive change and internationalization of the Nigerian financial markets: Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Securities. In addition he played an extensive role in the development of the Bond market in Nigeria, acting as a resource person in various fora, working with World Bank/IFC Technical Teams, CBN and DMO on Bond Market Developments.

Mrs. Mary Gbegbaje is the Acting Executive Secretary.

Mary started her working career in 1989 upon graduation from the University of Benin where she studied English & Literature (Education). Once done with the National Youth Service Corps scheme at the then Allied Bank Nigeria Plc where she worked as a customer care officer; she secured a job as marketing officer in the pioneer Nigerian credit card Company Cash-Data Services Ltd, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Mary’s client service, customer care and relationship management experiences span various sectors of the economy including brand management, communications, non-banking financial institutions and not for profit organizations.

She is an amiable facilitator and mentor who has over the years attended a number local and international training workshops in diverse activities. Furthermore, Mary passionately volunteers her time with the avowed commitment to developing small business initiatives for young women and campaign for compulsory primary education for the Nigerian child towards skill acquisition and the alleviation of poverty.
