    David Adepoju is the Head of Financial Markets for Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited, a position he has held in substantive capacity since January 2011.

    Under his leadership, the business has achieved tremendous results with a strong foundation in spite of challenging economic conditions in recent periods.

    David has over 15 years banking experience spanning Audit, Technology and Financial Markets. Prior to returning to Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria in 2011 as Head of Financial Markets and Co-Head of Wholesale Banking, he had responsibilities for Asset and Liability Management for the UAE and the wider Middle East region.

    He has also held positions in Financial Markets across Africa and the UK and has broad experience across Trading, Asset & Liability Management, Market Risk, Capital Markets and Market Development.
    He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria.

    Citibank Nigeria Limited

    Mr. Adeyemo is the Country Treasurer & Markets Head, Citibank Nigeria Limited. He is also the Chairman Automation Committee of the FMDA and serves as a member of the SEC Capital Market Committee (Sub-Committee on Exchanges). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Director, FMDQ OTC PLC.

  • Mr. Michael AnyimahMember

    Zenith Bank. Plc

    Mr. Michael Anyimah is currently a General Manager, Head of Trading (FX, Fixed Income & Derivatives), Investor Relations and Multilateral Funding at Zenith Bank Plc. Prior to joining Zenith Bank, he worked with Citibank and National Bank in roles covering Currency Trading, Asset and Liability Management and Fixed Income Trading.

    He has a Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science with First Class honors from the University of Lagos and a MBA degree from the same University. Mr. Anyimah completed the CFA exams in June 2007 and also earned the CFA Charter in the same year. He is the Chairman of the Foreign Exchange Workgroup of FMDA.

    Ms. Tolu Obadagbonyi is the current Treasurer of FSDH Merchant Bank Ltd after she served as the Chief Dealer at FBN Merchant Bank Ltd formerly Kakawa Discount House Ltd. She is the Chairperson of the Money Market Workgroup of FMDA.  She is an Alumni of Cranfield University and Lagos Business School.

    Rand Merchant Bank Ltd

    Kayode Obatusin holds a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University of Lagos Akoka and also a Bachelor of Engineering from Federal University of Technology Minna. He is ACI Operations certified. He worked with Solution Provider Tutors for almost four years in different capacities before joining the banking industry.

    He has acquired a wealth of work experience from reputable banks for over a decade with main focus in Treasury Operations. He started his banking career with Equitorial Trust Bank Limited, where he was treasury Officer and later Banking Officer. He thereafter joined Standard Chartered Bank Limited as a Product Delivery Manager. Presently, he is charge of Financial Markets Operations at Rand Merchant Bank Ltd. He is the Chairman of the Treasury Support Workgroup of FMDA.

    Citibank Nigeria Limited

    Mr. Akinsowon Dawodu holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and became a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, awarded by the CFA Institute in 2003. He is a former President of the FMDA and currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Citibank Nigeria.

    First Bank of Nigeria Plc

    Mr. Ini Ebong is currently the Treasurer of First Bank of Nigeria Limited. Prior to joining First Bank he was the Head of African Fixed Income and Local Markets Trading for Renaissance Securities Nigeria Limited. He worked in Citigroup for 14 years. While at Citi, he rotated through a wide variety of trading roles across most Treasury products, Asset and Liability Management, Treasury Sales and Marketing, some Treasury Risk Management until he was appointed Country Treasurer and Sales and Trading Business Head, in June 2003.

    At various times, he served as a resource person for the Money Market Association of Nigeria (MMAN) now Financial Markets Dealers Association and also on the Market Development, Process, Documentation and Foreign Exchange Committees. He was the Vice President of the Association from 2006 to 2008 and currently serves as a member of the Governing Council of the Association.

    Mr. Ebong has a passion for market development and has worked actively to drive change and internationalization of the Nigerian financial markets: Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Securities. In addition he played an extensive role in the development of the Bond market in Nigeria, acting as a resource person in various fora, working with World Bank/IFC Technical Teams, CBN and DMO on Bond Market Developments.

    Mr. Ayodeji Babatunde has an MBA, ACA with over 15 years experience in Banking. He worked as Assistant Vice President in Citibank Nigeria heading Risk Treasury and Money Market. Before now, he was with Citi Global Markets, London as Senior Business Analyst and Merchant Banking Corporation as Finance and Research Analyst. He is currently the Treasurer of Ecobank Nig. Ltd.
